Introduction:

The increasing technological and organizational innovations in the corporative world and the consequent need for more professional expertise motivate the implementation of procedures for personnel certification.

The personnel certification, based on a system that establishes the process of legitimated evaluation, formally recognized and widely accepted, can provide credibility and a certain trust on the certificated professional, facilitating the recognition and his inclusion at work. It is also a mechanism increasingly accepted to act over quality of professional education and to a possible exchange with the latest market needs. In some countries personnel certification is being promoted as a way to facilitate access to continuing education of people throughout their lives.

Goal:

The International Forum of Personnel Certification is an opportunity to discuss and share knowledge on the importance of certificating the professional, based on recognition of competences and based on the Conformity Assessment.

Its purpose is to provide a broad discussion on the importance of certification as a differential in professional graduation and social inclusion, and it will also show its implications for the country's competitiveness.
